How to download TikToks on PC (Windows, Mac, Linux)

If you switch to TikTok on PC for video editing, content archiving, or just to use a bigger screen, downloading videos from Windows, Mac, or Linux is probably easier than from mobile. In this guide I'll walk you through the full process and solve the most common issues.

Why download TikToks from PC?

• Bulk archiving: downloading many TikToks in a row is more comfortable with keyboard and mouse
• Storage: your PC has more space than your phone

Step-by-step download

1. Get the TikTok link

Two options:

From tiktok.com (fastest)

Open tiktok.com in your browser, find the video, and copy the URL from the address bar. It'll look like:

From phone

Copy the link on phone with Share → Copy link, then send it to yourself via email, WhatsApp Web, or any synced app.

2. Open TikSavr

Go to tiksavr.com in any modern browser. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Brave, Opera, whatever you use.

3. Paste and process

Paste the link in the main input (Ctrl+V on Windows/Linux, Cmd+V on Mac). Tap Search video. In 2-4 seconds the thumbnail, author, and quality options appear.

4. Download

Pick the quality and tap Download. The file goes straight to your Downloads folder with a name like tiksavr_title.mp4.

• Manually confirm the download if the browser flagged it as suspicious (normal for big MP4 files)

"The download is very slow"

Speed depends on:

• Your internet connection (obviously)
• TikTok's server load at that moment
• The quality you picked (1080p takes longer than 480p)

If a download takes longer than 1 minute for a short video, cancel and retry.
