How to download TikTok photos and carousels (TikTok Photos)
TikTok isn't just video anymore. For a while now it supports photo carousels with background music, and they've become hugely popular for memes, visual tutorials, and aesthetic posts. The problem: TikTok won't let you download the photos directly from the app. In this guide I'll show you how to grab every image of a carousel in high quality.
What are TikTok Photos?
Posts where, instead of a video, you see 2 or more images. You swipe horizontally to view each one. Usually they come with background music (the TikTok "sound" most people know).
These posts are ideal for:

How to download a full carousel
1. Copy the link
Open the photo post on TikTok. Tap the Share button (the arrow) and choose Copy link.
2. Paste it in TikSavr
Go to tiksavr.com and paste the link. TikSavr automatically detects it's a carousel and shows all photos.
3. Download all images
Two options:
- Download all: gives you a ZIP with every photo + the MP3 audio
- Download single photo: if you only want one
4. Extract the ZIP
On PC, double click the ZIP to open it. On iPhone, open the Files app and tap the ZIP, iOS extracts it automatically. On Android, most file managers can open ZIPs natively.
Image quality
TikTok serves photos at the original resolution uploaded. Worth noting: unlike videos, photos are NOT recompressed as aggressively.
You'll generally get images between 1080×1920 and 1440×1920 pixels, in JPEG format. Plenty for postcard-size printing or any digital use.
